Emily & Alex’s Love Story

The 2021 lockdown got in the way of Alex's plans of proposing to Emily on her birthday, after a day skiing. They went into lockdown the day before Emily’s birthday which meant they couldn't go skiing however the proposal was Emily’s birthday present so still needed to go ahead... They ended up going for a walk lakeside in Wanaka instead. Emily’s family were back at home and all knew it was occurring so celebrations followed.

They Were Most Excited For

Celebrating with all of their loved ones. They have had many highs and lows in their lives over the last few years but have never celebrated. This was the perfect opportunity to bring all our loved ones together for one big party.

The Style Of Their Wedding

To tie in with the Otahuna surroundings, Emily wanted to incorporate the colours and textures into her day. With large toi toi installments mixed with beautiful white and yellow florals to match her bridesmaids dresses.
